THURSDAY NIGHT TRAINING - MAY 30TH, 2019
Congratulations to all cadets and parents for a successful and well-delivered ACR! However, Thursday night training will continue until Thursday June 13th, 2019.
This coming Thursday, May 30th 2019 will be a range night for ALL cadets. Cadets may show up in appropriate civilian clothing or in combats.
THURSDAY NIGHT TRAINING UNTIL JUNE 13th, 2019
June 13th, 2019 will be conducted in civilian clothing and will be the Summer Camp Briefing. Only those going to summer training are required to attend.
This training night is MANDATORY for all cadets going to summer training and it is strongly suggested that the parents/guardian of the cadet attend as well.

JOINT SQUADRON HIKE - JUN 01, 2019 (JOINT WITH 808 AND 111 SQN)
The squadron has been invited to participate in a hike up the Chief in Squamish with 808 and 111 Squadron on Saturday June 1st, 2019. Cadets may sign up HERE.
Cadets will meet at 0815 at Seaforth Armoury and should return at approximately 1700. Transportation to the Chief will be provided to and from Seaforth Armoury.
We will be having lunch at one of the Chief’s peaks and are planning to provide lunch for all cadets. More updates regarding lunch will be posted closer to the date of the hike.
BAND CADETS ONLY - 47 CAPT VANCOUVER RCSCC ACR - SATURDAY JUN 01, 2019
All cadets in the BAND will be playing at the ACR for 47 Capt Vancouver RCSCC on Saturday June 01, 2019.
Cadets are to arrive by 9am and must be driven onto the base at HMCS Discovery in Stanley Park. Cadets and their driver must have a piece of photo ID on them in order to get onto the base.
2019 AWARDS GALA - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2019
The Squadron’s Annual Awards Gala HAS BEEN MOVED TO WEDNESDAY JUNE 12 2019. Unfortunately, there were some facility conflicts with the previously scheduled date of May 23 and June 11, 2019. Please do your best to make yourself available on the evening of Wednesday June 12, 2019.
This is a fun filled evening with opportunities to mingle with others, answer officer and cadet trivia, and awards presentations. A light dinner will be provided.
Each cadet is allowed to bring ONE ADDITIONAL GUEST and MUST RSVP HERE.
Cadets should arrive at 1800 and will be dismissed around 2130h.
Dress for the event is formal civilian attire.
Males - Suits, dress-shirts, dress pants and shoes with tie/bowtie.
Females - Cadet appropriate dresses (No shorter than knee-length and no bare shoulders)
The gala will be taking place at the UBC Medical Student & Alumni Center at 2750 Heather St, on the corner of Heather St and 12th Ave. A map can be found here. There is free street parking starting at 1800 on 12th Ave.
