Fall FTX - November 1-3, 2019

Join us on the first Field Training Exercise (FTX) of the training year! This exercise is open to all cadets. To the new recruits - don’t worry! Training will be delivered in different skill levels. Cadets will have the opportunity to learn the basics of aircrew survival, or build up on their pre-existing knowledge and skills.

Poppy Tag Days

Poppy Tagging for Remembrance Day will be taking place over two weekends. All cadets are required to participate in a minimum of two shifts between the four days. Please make sure you make yourself available accordingly.

  1. Poppy Tagging will be taking place @ the Billy Bishop Legion (1407 Laburnum St).

  2. Timings for shifts are as follows:

    • AM Shift - 0900-1230hrs

    • PM Shift - 1230-1600hrs

  3. Dress is C-1s (can wear parka if you have it).

    • Cadets without uniform are to wear:

      • Black jacket

      • Black pants

      • Black shoes

Tag Days - October 19 & 20, 2019

Tag Days are one of the ways we fundraise to support the squadron’s extracurricular activities, teams, and events. In order to maximize opportunities for great experiences, all cadets are required to participate in two tagging shifts. Sign up here.

135 RCACS 2019 AWARDS GALA - JUNE 12, 2019


  1. The Squadron’s Annual Awards Gala will be taking place on WEDNESDAY JUNE 12 2019. This is a fun filled evening with opportunities to mingle with others, answer officer and cadet trivia, and awards presentations. A light dinner will be provided.

  2. Each cadet is allowed to bring ONE ADDITIONAL GUEST and MUST RSVP HERE.

  3. Cadets should arrive at 1800 and will be dismissed around 2130h.

  4. Dress for the event is formal civilian attire.

    1. Males - Suits, dress-shirts, dress pants and shoes with tie/bowtie.

    2. Females - Cadet appropriate dresses (No shorter than knee-length and no bare shoulders)

  5. The gala will be taking place at the UBC Medical Student & Alumni Center at 2750 Heather St, on the corner of Heather St and 12th Ave. A map can be found HERE. There is free street parking starting at 1800 on 12th Ave.



  1. June 13th, 2019 will be conducted in civilian clothing and will be the Summer Camp Briefing. Only those going to summer training are required to attend.

    1. This training night is MANDATORY for all cadets going to summer training and it is strongly suggested that the parents/guardian of the cadet attend as well.

    2. Transportation details will be provided during this meeting. However, the Summer Camp Joining Instructions can be found HERE and it is IMPERATIVE that ALL cadets going to summer camp READ IT THOROUGHLY.
